Gorillas

Gorillas are black and furry. Female gorillas have black backs and males have silver backs. Female gorillas also have 1 baby at a time just like people do. Adult gorillas are 4 to 6 feet tall and they weigh up to 440 pounds. Some people hunt for gorillas so they can sell there meat for money. This is making gorillas become extinct because they are killing a lot of gorillas and there babies too. So we should help the gorillas. Maybe you should send some money to the WWF and help the gorillas!

UNTAMED ROLLER COSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in line for the UNTAMED Roller Coster. My stomach is knotted up. I hear high – pitched screeches coming from the other people on the roller coaster, and I am going to be one of them! I look up, “OH NO! We are next in line!” I shouted. The coaster looks colossal.

My mom and I were seated in cart four. Even though it has not started yet, I feel like screaming! Next thing I know, the cart starts click – clacking up. Finally we reached the top. I look down and I see miniature people and buildings.

Then it begins.  ZOOM! WHOOSH! It feels like we’re going a MILLION miles an hour! I feel like I’m a piece of glass about to shatter! All of the sudden, I open my eyes. As quick as a blink, the coaster shoots into a loop! Before I know it, there was a sharp turn into three more loops! There was a spiral whirl that made my life flash before my eyes.

After that, it jerks back, and I realize it has stopped. I turn to my mom and ask,”Can we go again?”

”NO!” So I decided to go by myself. I probably should have listened to mom!

Camp Lincoln Goats!

I love Camp Lincoln, but my FAVORITE thing I did at Camp Lincoln is… seeing the goats in the nature walk. On the nature walk,
I was partners with my BEST friend lily! The goats were fluffy, and the horns were pointy. Some had no horns! They also like to eat a lot of things that they should not, especially the spiky pine needles.

And if you stick your hand out straight and still, a goat will lick it’s slimy tongue on you! I asked Miss. Birch (The cabin leader), “Can I go in the fence where the goats are?”  She said, “Maybe when we come back.” I said, “Okay.” After the goats,  I walked 30 more minutes until we got to the end of the nature walk.  Our whole class got mint tea when we were at the top of the trail, and it was very steep. Finally when we went down, down, down the hill Miss. Birch said, “Go quick!”  That is when I go to see the goats again. I had so much fun! So I LOVE Camp Lincoln! But my favorite thing I did is seeing the fluffy goats!
